I saw Brittany and Natalie on a panel at PAX East and shortly after started listening to the show as a casual “I’ll just listen to this when I’m caught up on all my other shows” and whoops I binged the whole show and now am behind on all my other podcasts 🤷‍♂️😄 This show has made me want to play MotW so badly! Every single person on this show is just so incredible at what they do. Natalie’s writing, storytelling, roleplaying, and voice work; Brittany’s roleplaying and character choices for Raven; Quinn’s playing as Felicity and their commitment to her (Felicity) character even though “welp this might be a bad decision but it’s what Felicity would do!!”; Mel’s ability to play two drastically different characters flawlessly and her reactions to what Natalie does/says; Emory’s RIDICULOUSLy amazing artistic abilities and character choices for Whitaker; Ade’s brilliant character choices for Hugo being such a lovely compassionate bean and his hilarious quips as both Hugo and Ade; and Ders’ just absolutely GENIUS creativity when it comes to solving problems/obstacles that Natalie throws their way; all of these things make this podcast just an absolute overwhelming joy to listen to. I could not recommend this show enough! 😊💙

I met this group at PAX East and they were extremely fun to interact with. I got back and started listening to the podcast, and it’s been exciting so far. They are as good at storytelling as their name implies, and I can’t wait to keep listening! -Rob, Almost D&D

This is an actual play that is just so fun to listen to. Allowing the dice to drive story questions. Weaving a universe that works so well and players who really care about each other.

I heard the keeper/storyteller of this actual play on 3BH and decide to give them a try. The characters are fun, the story is very exciting, but most of all the heart of the show is amazing. If you want a fun urban fantasy story that occasionally takes time to hit the mall or go to the beach because why not. This is the actual play for you.

It’s funny, it’s scary, it’s exciting, it’s touching. If you’re sick of the crunch and creative limitations that D&D provides, give this a shot. The characters and the world are rich and well developed from the start. I’m only a few episodes in and I’m emotionally invested in these characters to a degree no other TTRPG show has grabbed me.

The keepers voice acting skills is wildly good and make all the NPCs come to life

Been listening to the podcast since the beginning. This is currently one of only two MotW podcasts I’d say I consistently listen to and, while I enjoy both, this one is my favorite without a doubt. I think it’s at least partly due to how well the players and their characters play off each other and interact.

Magical, funny, constantly interesting, and extremely wholesome! Definitely give this pod a listen.
